Man arrested on robbery charges

A Suffolk man was arrested Wednesday evening on several charges stemming from an incident Aug. 8 at the Motel 6 in the 2800 block of Pruden Boulevard.
Darcey Darrell Crocker, 47, of the 1400 block of Sierra Drive, was arrested without incident, according to a city press release.
The press release stated the charges were in connection with the armed robbery and aggravated assault of an acquaintance.
He had warrants for two counts of armed robbery; use of a firearm in commission of a felony; shoot, stab, cut or wound in commission of a felony; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and grand larceny, according to the release.
He is currently being held at Western Tidewater Regional Jail without bond.
