A Suffolk man is charged with two crimes after an incident Wednesday at the Morgan Memorial Library.
Alonzo Young, 27, is charged with indecent exposure and obscene sexual display in public, according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.
Klink said police were dispatched to the library on a call about a man “engaged in a personal sexual act” while seated next to a female patron just before 2 p.m. He was at a computer terminal, Klink added.
Officers were able to locate the subject and detain him.
Young was taken to the Western Tidewater Regional Jail following his arrest.
