Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Livi Bono, senior for Nansemond Suffolk Academy girls’ volleyball: The Lady Saints went 2-0 in conference play this week. Offensivley they were led by Bono, who had 27 kills, nine digs and two aces for the week.

Isiah Marquez, senior for Nansemond River High School Golf: Marquez remains the top player on the Warriors golf team. He shot a score of 81 and was the medalist in a win over Lakeland High School at Sleepy Hole Golf Course.

Sydney Beale, sophomore for Lakeland High School: The Lady Cavs went 1-1 during the week in field hockey. Beale scored two goals in a 6-0 victory over King’s Fork and three goals overall during the week.
