The 200 block of Pinner Street was closed briefly Friday morning after a tree fell, knocking down power lines.

Dominion Virginia Power and Suffolk police received a call between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Friday about a fallen rotten tree on the 200 block of Pinner Street.

The road has been closed, and police are on scene directing traffic. No injuries or property damage were reported. Diana Klink, the city’s media and community relations director, anticipates the closure “should not be for an extensive period of time.”
