Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• DyQuan McGhee, senior for Nansemond River High School football — After two losses in a row, the Warriors got a win this week against Hickory on their home field. McGhee lead the team with 89 rushing yards on eight carries, including a 28-yard touchdown run.
• Logan Harrell, senior for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy volleyball — Logan Harrell had 27 digs against Peninsula Catholic and is now the all-time leader in digs in NSA volleyball history, with 1,357 digs.
