To the editor:

The Suffolk Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone that stopped by and visited with us during our back-to-school supply drive, which was held at the North Main Street Walmart.

Our office provided free gun locks through our Project Child Safe program, as well as “Eddie Eagle” activity books about firearm safety. Through the generosity of so many, we were able to provide an overwhelming abundance of school supplies for Elephant’s Fork Elementary School.
