NSA won two games in a row for the first time all season this week as they defeated Norfolk Christian 3-0 at home.
The win gives the Saints their fourth on the season. Previously, they defeated Peninsula Catholic on Tuesday evening.
Saints coach Patrick Whelan described the win against Norfolk Christian as the best win this season, after the team fought back from a 2-1 deficit at halftime.
“We showed a real winning spirit,” Whelan said about his team’s victory. “Hats off to Norfolk Christian they played a really tight game and were really well coached. We had to play our fourth backup keeper, Richard Xue, who came up big for us in the net. Three different goal scorers showed how balanced of a team we are.”
The Saints play Cape Henry Collegiate at noon Oct. 15.
