The Lady Cavs bounced back from a loss against Poquoson High School with a 7-0 shut out against Indian River High School this week. Sydney Beale led the way with two goals, while five other players scored goals for the Lady Cavs.

“We are all very proud of how we played against Indian River,” the Lady Cavs’ Kendall Lewis said. “Coach Parker wanted us to work on some things, and we did it right then and there, and it worked out well for us. Everyone had really good attitude, and I think that helped us get the win.”

“This win was an excellent one for us,” Beale said. “Our coach was very proud of us. We got a lot of things corrected.”

The Lady Cavs will be at Heritage High School at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
