Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s girls’ varsity tennis team defeated Steward School 8-1 Tuesday evening.

Elvie Sellers was selected to first team all-conference in singles play. Sellers and Allison Gottlieb were selected to the first team all-conference in doubles play.

The Lady Saints tennis team are currently ranked fifth in the state. State tournament play will open up for them next week. Opponents and locations will be determined.
