To the editor:

I encourage you to vote for Kerry Holmes for mayor on Tuesday. As mayor, I believe he will bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to our city.

Kerry has leadership experience and experience in budgeting and planning, both in the military and the private sector. He is a magna cum laude graduate with a master’s degree in public administration from Old Dominion University.

Kerry understands that leadership must be responsive to the concerns of citizens from all areas of this wonderful city. He wants all citizens of Suffolk to listen to each other so that we can better understand our city’s problems.

His philosophy is that when we understand problems from many different perspectives, we will be better able to create solutions together to improve Suffolk.

He will work to make City Hall a place that enthusiastically welcomes the participation of its citizens.
