Sandra Elizabeth Brown, 72, transitioned Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at a Washington, D.C., hospital. She was a native of Suffolk and the daughter of Mary H. Goode.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Laverne Nicholson and Angela Goode; and one brother, Ernest Goode.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, in the Melvin Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
