Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

JeVon Waller, junior, Nansemond River High School football: Waller rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns, helping propel the Warriors to a win over Lakeland High School.

Alajuwun Langston, senior, Lakeland High School football: Langston had 150 yards receiving and two touchdowns for the Cavs against Nansemond River in a 24-27 overtime loss.

John Woods, senior, King’s Fork High School football: Woods completed 18 of 25 passes for 283 yards and four touchdowns in a 53-29 regular-season finale win over Deep Creek.
