The fifth-seeded Nansemond Suffolk Academy girls’ varsity tennis team defeated the fourth-seeded Highland School 5-2 Tuesday in the VISAA State Tennis Tournament Quarterfinal Match at Highland School.

With the win, the Lady Saints advance to the state semifinals on Friday against the winner between North Cross and Steward School.
