A two-vehicle accident caused a detour near the city line Friday morning.

Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the crash at the intersection of Paper Mill Road and Stewart Drive near the city line with Franklin, according to a city press release. The crash happened about 9:26 a.m.

A concrete truck rolled onto its side on a freight truck, according to the release.

One adult male was taken by ground ambulance to Southampton Memorial Hospital. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
