Police seek person of interest in homicide

Suffolk police are seeking a person of interest in Wednesday’s homicide in the 500 block of Lucerne Avenue.
Wallace Maurice Gore, 51, is not a suspect, according to a city press release. However, detectives “believe he may have information regarding this active criminal investigation.”
Gore is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has a last known address in Portsmouth.
Police responded to calls regarding a shooting in the area at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday on Lucerne Avenue, off Factory Street. They found 23-year-old Dalvin Henderson deceased.
