Police investigate double shooting

UPDATED 6:30 p.m.: Police have identified the victims of Sunday morning’s double shooting as Timothy Gore, 28, of Franklin, and Charles Banks, 55, of Suffolk, according to a city press release.
Earlier: Suffolk police are investigating a double shooting incident that took place Sunday morning.
The shooting was reported at 8:32 a.m. in the 200 block of Central Avenue, according to a city press release.
The victims, both adult males, suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital. One victim’s injuries are considered serious, and the other’s are considered non-life threatening, according to the release.
The shooting is still under investigation, according to the release.
