NSA’s basketball teams split their home openers on Tuesday.

The boys’ team beat Norfolk Christian 82-50.

Allen Strothers led the way for the Saints with 18 points and 12 assists. Resean White had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Jaden Freeman had 18 points, including four three-pointers made, and Derek White added 10 points and four steals. Saints are 1-0.

The Lady Saints lost to Norfolk Christian, 48-42. They currently sit at 1-2 but will be at home again Monday to face Norfolk Academy at 7 p.m.

The Norfolk Academy game is one of three games the Lady Saints will play next week.
