Bob Jones University, located in Greenville, S.C., named Hannah Brown to the Chorale, the premier concert and repertoire choir at Bob Jones University.

Brown, a resident of Suffolk, is a senior majoring in exercise science.

The 60-voice Chorale’s membership of upperclassmen and graduate students comes from all over the world and represents a wide variety of BJU’s major offerings. Members are selected during the audition process each fall.

“This year’s Chorale consistently performs at a high collegiate level,” said Dr. Warren Cook, the director of choral activities at BJU. “These members are continuing the Chorale’s strong reputation of delightful and inspirational performances.”

Under the direction of Cook, the Chorale will perform a new major choral work, Jubilate Deo, by acclaimed composer Dan Forrest. In March 2017, the Chorale and BJU Symphony Orchestra will perform the work twice in Greenville, prior to their April 3 debut in Chicago’s storied Orchestra Hall.
