Bettie White Pierce, 76, passed away Dec. 25, 2016. She was born in Gates County, N.C., to the late Joe and Grace Ward White. She is also predeceased by her husband of more than 37 years, James M. Pierce, and brothers, Robert N. White and Colin G. White. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, Bethlehem Trio for 47 years and the Melody Five Band for 30 years.

Bettie is survived by daughters, Sandra Leigh Gray and Tracey P. Harmon; grandchildren, Ricky Gray, Lauren Gray and Victoria Harmon; great-grandchildren, Nyomi and Cheyenne Gray; brother, Elbert Wayne White.

Her service will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lafayette Wilkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
