Johnny Fox Williams, 65, of Greenway Road, Suffolk, transitioned Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016, at Sentara Obici Hospital. He was a native of Nansemond County and the son of the late Walter Williams and Audrey C. Williams. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnata Williams; two brothers, Walter Williams Jr. and Edward Smith.

He was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School. He retired as a mechanic from Good Earth Horticulture. Johnny was a former member of Union Branch Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary E. Williams, of Windsor; two daughters, Shanna Williams, of Windsor, and Felicia Washington (Marcus), of Suffolk; two brothers, Samuel Williams, of Suffolk, and Wallace Williams, of Franklin; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, 7366 W. Blackwater Road, Windsor, officiated by the Rev. H. Carly Church. Interment will be in Gethsemane Church Cemetery, Suffolk. Professional services with dignity have been provided by Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
