A two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning resulted in Wilroy Road being shut down for more than an hour.

The crash happened about 7:26 a.m. in the 1200 block of Wilroy Road, according to a city press release.

Preliminary investigation found the driver of a passenger vehicle reportedly failed to yield while turning off Williams Road onto Wilroy Road, causing a box truck to T-bone the car and overturn.

The driver of the car was taken to Sentara Obici Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The driver of the truck elected not to go to the hospital.

The driver of the car was issued a summons for failure to yield.
