Suffolk Public Schools will be open with a normal schedule on Thursday, the school division announced Wednesday afternoon.

Make-up days are expected to be discussed at Thursday’s School Board meeting, according to the school division.

The approved calendar states that the first two days missed will be covered by built-in hours. Students already missed days on Sept. 22 and on Oct. 10, both due to flooding.

The approved calendar states the next days missed could be made up on President’s Day or on March 15, which was a planned early dismissal day.

Additional time could be made up by adding time to the instructional day.
