Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s Lady Saints defeated Norfolk Collegiate 51-41 on Tuesday, giving NSA its fourth win in a row and its sixth win of the year.

NSA got its win behind Kelly Hogan’s 31 points and 14 rebounds on 65 percent shooting. The Lady Saints were up 11-9 after the first quarter of play, but a strong second and third quarter propelled NSA to the win.

In those two quarters combined, the Lady Saints put up 32 points to Norfolk Collegiate’s eight. In the fourth quarter, Norfolk Collegiate made an impressive run, pouring in 24 points and limiting NSA to only eight.

But the comeback fell short.

Next, NSA will take on Tallwood at home on Friday in a rescheduled game from last week that game will start at 6:30 p.m.
