Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Joyner, of 2107 Vermont Ave., Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Jan. 18, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at noon at the New Mount Joy Food for Living Ministries, 307 County St., Suffolk. Bishop Viola Parker will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. A visitation will be on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Harris Funeral Home chapel.
