Sandra Slavin Taylor, 70, passed away on Jan. 20, 2017. She was a member of West End Baptist Church. Sandra is predeceased by her parents, James Clinton and Burda Slavin; her first husband, Robert Lane; and sister, Dorothy Beale.

Left to cherish her memory are husband, John Michael Taylor; sister, Peggy Luter; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017, at 2 p.m. at West End Baptist Church, 501 W. Washington St., Suffolk, with Dr. Robert Pipkin officiating. The family will receive friends this evening, Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W.
