State Police investigate fatal crash on I-664

The Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 664 in Suffolk.

The crash occurred Wednesday afternoon and involved a white work van and a tractor-trailer, according to a news release from state police Sgt. Michelle Anaya. The crash occurred on the northbound side toward Newport News at the College Drive exit.

Troopers are on scene reconstructing the fatal accident, Anaya stated. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
