Nansemond-Suffolk Academy’s boys’ and girls’ basketball teams will compete in the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools tournament next week.

The boys have the No. 6 seed, while the girls’ team has the No. 1 seed. Teams with the higher seeds will host games. NSA’s girls’ basketball team will host Norfolk Academy at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The boys’ team will travel to Norfolk Academy on Tuesday.

In the last meeting against Norfolk Academy, the Saints took a 45-50 loss on Jan. 31. However, the Lady Saints defeated Norfolk Academy 52-29 on that same day.

Feb. 21

6 p.m. (8) Norfolk Academy at (1) NSA

6 p.m. (7) Walsingham at (2) Norfolk Christian

5:30 p.m. (6) Norfolk Collegiate at (3) Bishop Sullivan

5:30 p.m. (5) HRA at (4) Cape Henry

Semifinals are at HRA Thursday, Feb. 23 and championship game will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at HRA as well.

Semifinals for the boys’ team will be held at HRA on Friday, Feb. 24, and the championship will be held Saturday at the same place.
