Raymond Lewis Langston, 88, of 6815 Brentwood Road, Suffolk, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at his residence. Raymond was born in Holland to Arthur and Molly Langston on Oct. 5, 1928.

His memory is honored by his wife of 56 years, Mageline; a daughter, Amy Langston-Eley (Jimmy); two granddaughters, Kayla and Jazzmine; one grandson, Jimmy Jr. (Jay); two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Langston (Riverson — deceased), and Mollie Langston (Redell — deceaced); and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Flossie Saunders, Rosa Baker, Johnnie Wyche, Louise Langston; and brothers, Riverson Langston and Arthur Langston Jr.

A celebration of his life will be held at noon Saturday at the Holland Mission UCC in Suffolk. Burial will be at Corinth Chapel Church Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service. You may send condolences to the family at www.vharrisfuneralhome.com.
