Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk police are attempting to identify a man who robbed a Domino’s Pizza location on East Constance Road late Monday night.

Police were called to the scene at 9:45 p.m., and a preliminary investigation revealed that a man had entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded money. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, he fled on foot.

Police said the subject is a black man, between 20 and 40 years old, about 6 feet tall with an average to medium build. He had a short stubble moustache and was wearing gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie, a black ski mask and black gloves.

There were no injuries during the incident.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up. Callers can remain anonymous, and they do not have to appear in court. Tips can also be submitted at www.suffolkva.us/crimelinetips or by texting the “274637” with the keyword SPDVATIP. A mobile app, TipSubmit, also can be used to send text messages, videos or photos as tips. If a tipster’s information leads to an arrest, the tipster could qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
