Police have arrested a 58-year-old man on multiple counts of sex crimes related to alleged incidents that occurred in February.

Samuel Johnson, 58, of the 300 block of Goodman Street, was arrested on 10 charges, according to a city press release. The incidents allegedly occurred at his residence and involved a male juvenile under the age of 13. The victim was known to Johnson, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible, according to the release.

Johnson is being held without bond at Western Tidewater Regional Jail, according to the press release.
