Nansemond River High School girls’ soccer team got a 3-1 win on the road Wednesday against Oscar Smith High School.

The Lady Warriors are now 5-0. After being tied 1-1 going into extra time, Sarah Rhiel scored her second goal of the game at the 81-minute mark to give Nansemond River the lead. In the 87th minute of the game, Marielle Buchy sealed the deal with the final goal for Nansemond River.

Nansemond River will take on Great Bridge High School at home today at 5:30 p.m. Weather could cause for a reschedule.
