Mrs. Lizzie D. Beamon, 212 Clay St., departed this earthly life on March 27, 2017, in Obici Hospital. She was the predeceased by her parents, Willie and Catherine P. Kindred; a son, John Beamon; and a daughter, Tunisa Worrell.

Her survivors include daughters, Cynthia McGruder (Terry) and Tracey Beamon; three sons, Norman Beamon (Diane), Milton Beamon and Gregory Beamon; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sisters, brothers and a host of other relatives.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Gethsemane Baptist Church, Copeland Road. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
