Margaret Jane Fanney, 88, passed away on April 4, 2017. She was born in Suffolk to the late R.C. and Maggie Stone. Margaret was a loving mother and was a lover of animals. She was a member at West End Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Margaret is predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Jo, and fiancé, Raymond Murden.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Joseph (Sharon), Roger (Kim); grandson, Jon Stone; brother, R.C. Stone Jr. (Mildred); niece, Julie; nephew, Rex; beloved cousin, Edna; and other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Holly Lawn Cemetery, 1525 N. Main St., Suffolk, with the Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, April 7, 2017, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at R.W. Baker Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.
