Nansemond River High School’s girls’ soccer team shut out King’s Fork High School 3-0 Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Warriors continued their early-season dominance with another shutout victory. This is Nansemond River’s second consecutive win this week, and both games were shutouts. They’ve outscored both their opponents in back-to-back days a total of 8-0.
Sarah Rhiel led the way for the Lady Warriors with two goals. Nansemond River will play Grassfield High School at home Thursday at 5:30 p.m., if the weather permits. King’s Fork will go on spring break.
