Jewel M. Bremory, 75, of Nansemond Parkway, transitioned Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at her residence.

Jewel was educated in the Gates County, N.C., school system. She was later united in matrimony to James Bremory after relocating to Suffolk. She was employed 20-plus years with the General Electric Plant until its closing in 1986 and later began a career at Newport News Shipbuilding.

A memorial service will be held at noon, Thursday, May 11, 2017, at Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
