Lady Warriors make history

- Coach Shamus Riley and Coach Brandon Frye stand with the Nansemond River High School girls’ tennis team. The team made history this season, going 15-0 with 14 shutouts.
Nansemond River High School’s girls’ tennis team defeated Kecoughtan High School at home Tuesday to end the regular season.
The Lady Warriors have made school history by finishing their regular season with a record of 15-0 with a 6-0 conference record. In 14 consecutive matches, they shut their opponents out. It is the first undefeated season in Nansemond River history.
