Forensics camp accepting applications

The Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office will hold its sixth annual forensics camp this summer, and Suffolk students ages 12 to 15 are invited to apply.

The camp is a one-week, half-day program designed to teach students about the study of forensics through criminal law. Young people will get the chance to learn about and practice observation, photography, evidence collection, preservation and testimony in court. The class will be taught by forensics experts and assistant commonwealth’s attorneys.

The class will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 19-23, and the application deadline is June 9. The class is limited to 60 students.
