Bulldogs take down Titans

King’s Fork High School’s baseball team defeated Lake Taylor High School 9-5 Monday in their second Conference 17 matchup.

The Bulldogs took down the Titans for the second time in conference play on Monday. King’s Fork took a 2-0 lead early in the first inning. The Bulldogs went up by as many as five before the Titans tied the game up in the sixth inning.

Both teams went scoreless in the seventh and eighth innings until a single by senior Tristen DeGuzman in the top of the ninth helped King’s Fork roll. King’s Fork drove in four runs in the ninth inning giving them the win.

Noah Floyd went 2-3 with a run and two RBIs. Floyd and Rick McCleod had pitching duties for the Bulldogs. King’s Fork has one game left, which will be senior day, Wednesday at home against Wilson High School at 5:30 p.m.
