Joseph Edward Briggs Sr., 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

A visitation will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. A funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday at Metropolitan Baptist Church. Mr. Briggs will receive military honors at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
