A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a shooting early Saturday.

The shooting in the 100 block of Greenfield Crescent was reported at 2:49 a.m., according to a city press release. An adult male victim was taken by ground ambulance to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further information is available.
