To the editor:

As a resident of the 64^th District, I am very pleased that Emily Brewer is running for a seat in the House of Delegates.

I have been an educator for Suffolk Public Schools for the past 37 years and had the pleasure of having Emily as a student in my marketing classes during a three-year period. She participated in DECA, an association of marketing students and won at the district and state Levels. She also went on to compete at the international level.

Emily was a leader in high school and was in charge of several of the DECA projects that we did in the school and community. After she graduated from high school, she has come back to help students prepare for DECA district, state and international competitions. She also has judged at the DECA district and state levels.

Emily owns and operates her own business. She knows how to listen and work with people. I know that she will work hard for her constituents. Emily is someone we will be able to count on in our 64^th District, and she will represent us well in Richmond!

It is with great pleasure that I am voting for my dear friend, Emily Brewer, in the Republican Primary on June 13. Please come out and support this fine, young, hard-working lady in the 64^th District and cast your vote for her on June 13.
