The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ soccer team was represented by two players on the VISAA Division II all-state teams this season. Abby Herrod made the first team, while Kelly Hogan made the second team.

Herrod was also a first-team all-conference member as well. Hogan made second-team all-conference.

Herrod was the leading scorer on a soccer team that went 8-9 this season, while Herrod was the goalkeeper. NSA’s season ended after a 0-3 loss to Highland School in the VISAA state quarterfinals. Herrod will be returning next season, while Hogan will be a goalkeeper for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
