To the editor:

I am writing about the story, “Planners approve solar farm,” published in the June 21 edition of the Suffolk News-Herald.

I think the solar farm is a great idea and not just for the city, but the world. Plus, this will give people jobs that are needed.

Even though this project is very costly, I think there is no price too high for helping people find jobs and at the same time making this world healthier. I find it awesome that this will power 2,500 homes with cleaner energy.

I really do not know what to say about the neighbor’s situation with the property he is trying to sell. I do believe he deserves a way out, because he had been trying to sell before this solar farm idea came along, and I think it is likely that his property’s value will go down while the construction is going on. But since he is selling, why not get the company to buy him out?

Anyway, I think this is a great idea and hope this company will gain approval for the project
