A skydiver was injured after a hard landing at Skydive Suffolk on Saturday afternoon.

Suffolk Police and Suffolk Fire and Rescue responded to the scene at the Suffolk Executive Airport after receiving a call about 3:56 p.m.

The skydiver, a 29-year-old male, was injured during his landing after an advanced jump. He was airlifted by Nightingale to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
