One injured in Pruden Boulevard crash

One man was injured Saturday morning in a crash in the 5000 block of Pruden Boulevard.
Suffolk police and fire and rescue personnel responded to the scene at 7:58 a.m., according to a city press release.
Officials stated that the driver of a passenger car pulled out of his driveway and struck a pickup truck pulling a trailer.
The driver of the car was treated at the scene and transported to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries. Neither the driver nor the passenger in the pickup truck was injured.
The road was closed for about an hour in both directions, and the car’s driver was cited with failure to yield.
