A North Carolina woman has been arrested following indictment on numerous charges related to a crash last September that killed her 3-year-old son.

Tayler Symoine Scott, 21, of Raeford, is charged with cruelty and injuries to children, reckless — improper brakes, improper passing on double solid line and no driver’s license.

The crash happened at 2:11 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11, on the Route 58 bypass. Scott’s car, a Toyota passenger vehicle, was traveling eastbound near the Wilroy Road exit when it lost control, went over the grass median and collided with a Mazda minivan that was traveling westbound, according to a city press release from the day of the crash.
