Police are investigating a breaking and entering that happened on a construction site in North Suffolk Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Police were notified just before 9 a.m. Tuesday that several tools were missing from the construction site of Believers Church in the 6800 block of Bridgeway Drive, according to city spokesman Tim Kelley. The site superintendent reported an unknown offender got into the locked site and stole tools belonging to two different companies — R.F. Knight Electric and Best Electric — and four individual employees, Kelley stated.

The thefts happened sometime between 4:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday, Kelley stated.
