Charlie C. Faulk, 98, of Hosier Road, transitioned Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at his residence. Charlie was the youngest of eight brothers born to the late Laura Boone Faulk and John Frank Faulk. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by Otis, Coley, Rudolph, Letcher, Felix, Andrew and Finton.

Charlie was a kind, generous person who loved his family and was loved by them in return. After retiring from the government, he opened his own barbershop and barbered for many years.

He leaves to cherish his memory his nieces, nephews, “adopted son,” Kenneth Brown, of Suffolk, and many family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017, in the Melvin J. Blowe Chapel of Crocker Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Lauder Skeeter Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
