Susan Harvey Seibel, 78, of the 5200 block of Shoal Creek Road, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., she was a branch office administrator for Edward Jones for 30 years and a member of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, James Edward Seibel; a daughter, Julie Geller, of Suffolk; a son, Jonathan D. Seibel, of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kara Benson, Tayler Benson, Myles Geller, Morgan Seibel and Melanie Seibel; and two great-grandchildren.

Sue and Jim met on the ski slopes outside of Buffalo, N.Y., in 1960. Married in 1961, they spent the next 23 years living in seven cities, ending up in Suffolk in 1984, where they opened an Edward Jones Investment Office. They both retired in 2014. Before coming to Suffolk, Sue worked for several children’s dentists. Sue enjoyed traveling the world, especially cruises. She spent many hours doing beautiful crewel work.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 29, in Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Larry Ugarte’. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Endowment Fund of Saint Andrew Presbyterian Church. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel is handling arrangements.
