A crash on Godwin Boulevard slowed traffic on Tuesday evening.

The crash happened in the 5000 block of Godwin Boulevard and involved a Hyundai four-door and a Ford Freestyle SUV. It was reported at 4:41 p.m.

The roadway was completely shut down in both directions immediately following the crash. Traffic was later alternated, and the roadway completely reopened about 6 p.m.

Two people were taken to hospitals suffering from injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
